We begin with dry preparation for maximum precision, working on clean, natural skin. If there is existing product, we safely remove it first, using a Staleks’ cone carbide bit, then trim and pre-shape the nail closer to your desired length and shape, before detailed cuticle work begins. Using a professional Staleks flame bit, we meticulously refine the cuticle area to clean, exfoliate and lift the cuticle. With the flame bit, we gently lift the eponychium (the thin skin at the base of the nail) to access what lies beneath. We then clean the cuticle pocket and sidewalls to carefully remove dead cuticle and excess skin from the nail plate, resulting in a crisp, seamless finish. To complete the Russian pedicure standard, we complete the cuticle work with Staleks’ Professional cuticle scissors, then polish the surrounding skin with a ball bit to smooth the area and help prevent peeling and flaking after the service.

Unlike manicures, we do not dehydrate or use bond on toenails. After cuticle work, we apply F.O.X Pedicure Base—an elastic base gel designed to protect the natural toenail and help prevent pressure, damage or deformation, especially for sensitive and curved nails.

We apply your chosen gel color. This is done by meticulously pushing the color extremely close to the cuticle, creating the illusion that it is growing directly from the nail bed for a cleaner, more seamless grow-out. We finish by sealing everything with your preferred top coat. Gloss, matte, glitter and everything in between - the possibilities are endless.

After the top coat, we complete the final file and nail shape to seal the coating and prevent uneven edges. We then address the heels based on callus severity using the Staleks PODODISC with a disposable disc (80, 180 or 240 grit). We finish with lotion and a relaxing foot rub, then polish the heels and skin with disposable file-sponges to smooth texture and refine small cracks for longer-lasting softness. We complete the service by cleansing away dust and residue with micellar water foam for a clean, finished feel.
